Obama Inauguration Posters
On November 4, 2008, the United States of America held an election for their forty-fourth president. That day will go down in future history books; on that day, America voted to elect their first African-American president. The world watched in awe as the country, once gripped by slavery, then discrimination and racism, rose above its past and decided in favor of change. On January 20, 2009, Barack Obama was sworn in to office with the world watching as he entered the office of the presidency amidst unprecedented domestic, financial, and international turmoil.
The historic event was one of much pomp and plenty of tradition. Events included the swearing-in ceremony, the speech, the balls, and the parade.
